Nordan 2026

KAUS: Complex Analysis Without Seniors is a special event for graduate students. It offers an opportunity for graduate students in complex analysis or geometry to present their research to peers in a supportive environment. Participation is open to all graduate students, regardless of whether they wish to give a presentation. However, the rule is that no senior researchers are allowed. This event is exclusively for graduate students or recent graduates, creating a platform for the next generation of complex analysts to hone their presentation skills and exchange ideas in a welcoming environment. The tradition of KAUS was revived in 2024, after having been dormant since 2011.

KAUS 2026 will take place in Joensuu on May 22, just before the Nordan conference. The talks will be held at the University of Eastern Finland. The detailed schedule will be posted after registration is completed. There will be ample time for socializing and networking.

All KAUS participants are expected to attend the Nordan 2026 meeting. For KAUS attendees, the Nordan registration fee of EUR 540 also includes the KAUS registration.
