
Nordic Complex Analysis Meeting
May 22–24, 2026 | Joensuu, Finland
We are pleased to announce the 27th iteration of Nordan, the annual Nordic conference on complex analysis. In 2026, for the first time in its history, the Nordan conference will be held in Finland. The event will take place from May 22 to 24, at the Joensuu campus of the University of Eastern Finland. In connection with Nordan, a KAUS meeting for graduate students will be organized on May 22, 2026. For more information about KAUS, visit here.
Conference Schedule:
- Friday, May 22: The conference begins with a welcome dinner in the city center of Joensuu, offering participants a chance to meet and connect in a relaxed setting.
- Saturday, May 23: The day will feature four talks, followed by an afternoon excursion to the scenic Koli National Park (see the picture below).
- Sunday, May 24: The final day will include five talks. The conference will conclude at 15:30.
The registration deadline is March 23, 2026.
Important note: The most convenient way to reach Joensuu is by air. On May 22, Finnair operates a direct flight from Helsinki to Joensuu, departing at 16:05 and arriving at 17:10. For the return journey, there are two natural options: (i) a Sunday evening flight departing Joensuu at 17:30; and (ii) a Monday morning flight departing at 05:30.
